環保酵素的製作方式如下:
- 材料-黑糖、鮮垃圾(果皮、蔬菜葉)、清水

比例-1:3:10
- 首先,將清水和黑糖順時針方向攪均後,再放入鮮垃圾;請預留一些空間讓其發酵。
- 讓其發酵至少三個月;記得需讓黑糖水蓋過垃圾,並確實將所有鮮垃圾埋沉在黑糖水中(在釀製過程中不需擔心會產生臭氣,只需將容器蓋好即可)。
- 垃圾液應呈棕黃色,有橘子般的刺激氣昧(若液體呈現黑色,即代表腐敗不成功,必須重新製作)。
- 釀製完後的垃圾渣,可以拿來曬乾,攪碎後埋在土裏作肥料;或是將其繼續留放在缸底,和下次的鮮垃圾再次釀製環保酵素。
其實,環保酵素除了能作為天然清潔劑使用外,它還有其他功用:

- 酵素肥料-有效分解土壤內含之營養份,供根部吸收。
- 酵素殺蟲劑(昆蟲)-有效抑制病害發生。
- 除臭-藉由益菌分解,可將有機臭分子完全去除。
- 中和土壤酸鹼值-活化土壤。
- 固體排泄物分解-快速氧化並分解排泄物,同時,也能分解一般不易分解的界面活性劑與油脂、紙類等。
- 馬桶活菌清潔-深入馬桶、瓷盆細微處,分解有機殘垢並形成生物薄膜,減少水垢附著,使其清洗後能光潔如新。若長期使用,還可消除管路上沉積物,保持馬桶暢通。
- 排水管維護清潔-可氧化分解堵塞於排水管的有機物及油脂污染物;對脂肪、蛋白質、澱粉、纖維素及清潔劑等有機物,也皆可有效氧化分解。
